Manager, Content Production Creative Operations, Clinique
Description
The Manager, Content Production supports the Content Production team while participating in all photography, illustration, and video production for Clinique. This role is also responsible for processing and tracking the billing of all projects produced by the team as well as general administrative tasks.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Content Production Execution:
Supports Content Print and Motion Directors in day-to-day management of all active projects.
Maintains photographer, model, and illustrator contracts, prop and model releases, and drafts contract language for approval by Director.
Negotiates and tracks renewals of usage rights for expired images.
Issues call sheets, shot lists, and production books for all shoots.
Provides metadata to the asset management system administrator.
Project Management & Planning:
Partners with Creative and Marketing teams to plan Clinique’s Content Studio print and motion shoots, including how-to videos, ecommerce assets, social assets, and tutorial videos.
Creates pre-production, production, and post-production timelines for content production shoots; responsible for maintaining portfolio of content production calendar.
Monitors day-to-day activities to ensure projects are executed on time and within budget; escalates risks to project managers as necessary.
Provides Clinique Content Studio productivity metrics, including number of assets shot, velocity of retouching, number of assets retouched, and start-to-finish durations for photo shoots.
Partners with Photo Planning department to manage comp creation and to build post production schedules
Liaises with Global Design Project Management team to communicate photo shoot status, including briefing, pre-production, photo shoot, retouching, and post-production milestones.
Provides estimates and up-to-date reports on budgets for assigned photo shoots and illustration projects.
Financial & Administrative:
Responsible for Content Production billing including setting up new vendors, opening shopping carts, processing purchase orders and confirming goods in SRM and confirming that invoices have been received and processed in a timely manner
Maintains job files including all related documents
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
5+ years of related experience with a strong background working on illustration projects
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Experience with SAP or other purchase order processing systems preferred
Experience negotiating contracts and partnering with Legal Department
Ability to translate creative ideas into creative content
Interest and knowledge in models, photography, pop culture, new media and film
Strong ability to manage budgets with attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Ability to focus, stay on task & meet production deadlines
Mac skills and familiarity with Adobe Suite and Microsoft Suite
