Position Summary:
The Manager, Content Strategy, works with the Director, Content to guide social audio content strategy. This includes advising producers on audio content curation and community management, and working with a production staff on the presentation of audio on a social platform. Content strategy will be informed by metrics and community feedback, in addition to the manager's content strategy experience. The manager also identifies and engages potential content partners with deal teams.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Guide audio content strategy for a new SiriusXM team.
• Oversee social media strategy as a part of this team.
• Evaluate the performance of audio content based on metrics and community feedback.
• Work with deal teams to identify and engage content partners.
• Advise a team of producers on their management of audio communities.
• Manage topic areas and their communities.
• Discover/identify relevant audio content from both inside and outside SiriusXM.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 3-5 years content creation experience.
• 1-2 years of experience overseeing strategy on a content vertical or content community.
• Application of excellent judgment skills in knowing which content should have the greatest visibility and priority at any given moment.
• Expert in social media, particular Facebook and Twitter.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.

• Comfortable with building a new content-focused team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of Adobe Audition a plus.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop a plus.
• Experience in a content management system a plus.
