Manager, Brand Marketing, Innovation Collection
Company is seeking a Manager to join the Brand Marketing Team to support a Collection of brands including GQ, GQ Style, Pitchfork, WIRED Media Group and Golf Digest. The role will require the individual to ideate marketing concepts and present integrated proposals that will help attract, maintain and increase our brands’ digital, social, event and print business across a wide variety of categories.
OVERVIEW/PURPOSE
Primary Responsibilities:
• Ideation; writing & presentation; project management
• Develop integrated marketing proposals across a variety of selling categories and budget levels.
• Strong writing and presentation skills required.
• Create accurate budgets encompassing all program elements
• Collaborate on the development of sales opportunities, etc. when appropriate and develop and communicate these to both the sales and marketing teams.
• Act as the client facing lead and project manage throughout the pre-sale process and transition to post-sale
• Support department signature programs, including owning activation's within larger tent-pole events as required
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience within the media/marketing
• Strong writing and creative thinking abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience executing or assisting in the execution of events, branded content and activations
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team setting
• Knowledge of digital and mobile advertising capabilities and implementation, etc.
• Knowledge of Keynote, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Strong interest and knowledge of music world and the entertainment category
• Understanding of current social media platforms and digital ad products
