Responsibilities
Job Purpose
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF BRAND MARKETING TEAM
Responsible for the planning, development, execution and oversight of brand marketing strategy, and innovative multi-platform campaigns to build and sustain NBC Entertainment show brands throughout their lifecycle.
THE ROLE
The Manager of Brand Marketing will play a key role in managing the brand development and marketing campaigns of NBC Entertainment’s shows to drive viewership and engagement across all platforms.
Essential Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy & Campaign Development
Support the Director of Brand Marketing and Digital in the overall show launch and campaign management process. This includes guiding the development of marketing strategies and launch materials, and managing the execution of cross-channel campaigns, communications materials and creative assets.
2. Brand Management
Serve as the brand advocate and the central hub of show information to lead cross-functional internal marketing teams and external partners.
3. Presentations
Develop the marketing presentation, launch documents and audience targets in collaboration with a wide range of departments including media, creative, publicity, social, product, custom content, symphony, promotions, and affiliate marketing. Present the strategy to senior marketing executives.
4. Partnerships and Innovative Marketing
Build on partnerships with agencies for campaign development, digital marketing and creative execution.
Organize and empower marketing teams to ideate and collaborate on innovative marketing campaigns that span digital marketing, partnerships/promotions, events, and more
5. Content Distribution
Understand the creative and work on the development of the content distribution strategy. Stay up to speed on creative (print, digital, video) and usage across the campaign, platforms and/or tactics ensuring it aligns with the relevant strategy and targets.
6. Campaign Management & Tracking
Track status and progress of campaigns, including maintaining and sharing timelines and calendars (while reporting back to senior team on status as necessary) and encourage stakeholders to move towards set goals together.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years marketing experience, preferably digital or social, at an agency, or in an entertainment industry.
