Purpose
Plan, develop and implement an integrated Brand Activation plan across all communication channels (ATL / BTL / Digital / Social media, PR, Retail, Events) for your market in accordance with Brand and Category strategy and objectives. Contribute to the implementation of the global Brand strategy and adaption to the needs of your market.
Key Accountabilities:
• Keep your market strategy aligned with the global strategy to ensure that it reflects at the same time the market needs.
• Extend global market initiatives and campaigns to your market and ensure translation into cost efficient media plans and implementation across all appropriate communication channels and tools
• Coordinate alignment with internal departments (Merchandising, PR, Trade, Omni Channels, Spoma, Sales) and facilitate execution of marketing initiatives aligned with Brand Marketing tools and guidelines to gain mind and heart of consumers
• Develop market-specific initiatives, events, activations, that excite the consumer and are brand-appropriate to leverage brand advocacy
• Manage relationship with advertising agencies, media outlets and communication suppliers
• Manage the budgeting process and spending to guarantee brand visibility thoughout the year
• Constantly analyze the success of the marketing plan across all communication channels through research/analytics to share that learning with Global Brand Marketing
• Manage all reports as an integrated team by setting team objectives, targets and guidelines.
• Lead the Performance / Digital Influencers strategy and relationship with local athletes and partners to reach high visibility and support of main brand campaigns
• Partner with global and local Brand and Spoma teams to deliver best strategies and practices through adidas Performance assets and platforms
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Consumer centric brand builder with implementation-driven personality to understand all brand marketing opportunities and how to orchestrate it across categories across all category distribution channels
• Ability to understand global Brand strategy and how to best implement it locally for great results
• Executional excellence in global campaign implementation
• Brand Reach and Perception (brand tracking)
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, influencing skills (i.e. relationship management, facilitation) and solid brand marketing knowledge and experience
• People Management
• Strategy – ability to provide input to and implement strategy
Qualifications:
• Degree in marketing or communication
• Experience in brand marketing disciplines.
• Fluent in English (writing and verbal) ); Spanish skills preferred; Local Language Portuguese.
• Deep knowledge in sports industry, preferably Running and Training– key local market players, consumer behavior, trends, media and influencers.
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
