Job Summary:
The Inside National Account Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities on a local level within their defined territories/regions, maintaining and building existing client relationships while closing business and meeting established sales goals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for meeting sales targets and generating revenue by selling airport related advertising, including static, digital, experiential, and sponsorship opportunities directly to businesses.
• Develop new leads by conducting research, identifying opportunities, cold calling and making appointments with local businesses within a select portfolio of major hub airports.
• Prepare compelling and competitive proposals and presentations.
• Present ideas and advertising solutions that meet client needs.
• Determine pricing and negotiate fees/services with client, based on guidelines and approval from management.
• Maintain market database of advertisers through designated CRM program.
• Maintain a minimum requirement of daily phone calls and produce a required number of qualified prospects each week.
• Work collaboratively with National Account Executive within each defined territory.
• Report directly to Local and National Sales leadership.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Excellent communication skills required; verbal, written, and presentation.
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills.
• Must be detail-oriented.
• Strong client relationship-building skills and customer service.
• Be able to present one’s self in highly cooperative and professional manner when meeting both internal and external customers face to face.
• Must have working knowledge of Windows operating system and be proficient in Microsoft Office software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Employee must have the ability to sit and/or stand at a desk for a minimum of 8 hours a day and complete tasks requiring repetitive use of hands.
• Ability to plan and organize, set priorities, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Negotiation and closing proficiency.
• Independent, self-motivated, competitive, and assertive.
• Must possess a valid drivers’ license with safe driving record.
• Must be flexible to travel, roughly 35-40%.
WORK EXPERIENCE
• 3+ years media sales experience with a proven track record of success.
EDUCATION
• College degree in business administration preferred
