What role will you play?
As an exceptional principal engineer, you will help us tackle some of the most challenging problems in the bank. You will draw from deep and broad technical expertise to get hands on in the code to help solve technical problems, mentor more junior engineers and provide leadership on complex technology issues across the company.
You'll spend the majority of their time building great software by directing and managing the engineers who work for them both with hands-on coding and close technical direction of the team.
What you offer
- Strong technical background (preferably Java based)
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team with proven success at running complex engineering initiatives
- Product company experience with an understanding of how to build great products in an Agile environment
- Solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable and performant web applications
- Computer science education or equivalent experience
- Ability to communicate clearly with all levels of the organisation
- Any exposure to engineering content management or notifications related products would be viewed favourably but isn't critical
