Junior Producer, Company website
Company website is currently seeking a Junior Producer to be an active member of our interactive team in the Emmaus, PA headquarters. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented and enthusiastic self-starter with a passion for all things digital and service journalism. The job primarily involves building content for various platforms, and offers opportunities to brainstorm ideas and contribute editorially to the largest men’s magazine brand in the world.
Responsibilities include:
• Work with online editors and web designers to build and publish content on Company website.
• Maintain site content and promotions via content management tools (Drupal, Brightcove, social media platforms).
• Work closely with IT, Editorial and Advertising Operations staff to make ensure content of all types is accessible and performs optimally.
• Produce and manage daily, weekly, and monthly Newsletters.
• Pitch in to support various social media channels.
The ideal candidate will possess:
• A Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, web design, or a similarly relevant course of study.
• Basic HTML skills.
• Basic Adobe Photoshop proficiency (manipulate/resize/crop images).
• An organized and results-oriented approach to work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• An understanding of the principals of web analytics and online advertising.
• A basic understanding of Natural Search Optimization strategies.
• Basic familiarity with the Drupal environment and with Brightcove video platform.
• An ability to deal with ambiguity and identify the critical path in a project.
Bonus Skills:
• Experience with intermediate HTML/CSS
• Experience in an online editorial environment.
• Visual design experience.
• Interest in Health and Fitness.
• Publishing industry experience.
• Digital audio and video production (Podcasting, Streaming, Encoding Processes).
