Company is currently recruiting Junior Operations Specialist at Mutual Fund Servicesto join our Fund Order and Custody department.
As an Operation Specialist, you’ll work under supervision, supporting senior team members in performing reviews of daily service and transaction work and participate in the execution of client instructions, preparing reporting and documentation. You will become member of processing team, which help our clients (internal and external) to meet their goals and provide timely and accurate completion of all client deliverables and inquiries with support of more senior colleagues. This position also includes regular communication with different parties all around the world. To be successful, you’ll need to be client oriented, well organized and pay attention to details, be a good team player and eager to learn.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing Fund’s official documents, contract notes, statements and analyze information provided
- Preparing deferent kinds of documentation
- Gather information and preparing backups
- Updating internal systems
- Communicating with external parties - Funds, Transfer Agents, brokers, vendors all around the world via email and/or phone
- Providing timely updates for the clients
- Preparing reports
- Participating in internal calls
- Supporting senior team members in performing reviews of daily service and transaction work

Desired Qualifications:
- Strong English skills (at least written/spoken B2)
- Good communication skills
- Attention to details
- Good level of personal organization
- Analytical thinking
- Aptitude for documentation management, accuracy, and organization
- Ability to multitask, work under strict deadlines and with attention to details,
- MS Office (excel, outlook), Adobe Acrobat Reader, Nuance Power PDF (preferable)
- Background in finance or law is preferable, but not required. Previous professional experience not required
