ERM is seeking a motivated Junior HR Specialist (German speaking)to join our team in Warsaw.
Location: Warsaw, Poland
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
You will be joining our EMEA People Services team (Human Resources) to provide full administrative support to our employees in Central Europe. This role will encompass all areas of HR administration, including recruitment and onboarding, contractual amendments, leavers, benefits, training, payroll and annual processes.
About the role:
Whilst the role and responsibilities can vary, your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Working as part of our EMEA People Services team (Human Resources) to provide full administrative support to employees primarily Germany, and also the rest of EMEA as and when required
- Using our case management tool ManageEngine to resolve a high volume of incoming queries promptly, ensuring to utilize your knowledge and people skills to resolve and de-escalate complex issues
- Processing the monthly payroll, including the monthly input and output data for Germany and Switzerland
- Assisting in the hiring process of employees including generating contracts, conducting right-to-work/visa checks, and coordinating probationary periods
- Employee data management – accurately updating and storing employee details throughout the employee lifecycle; ensuring data compliance with GDPR regulations; conducting regular audits on data quality
- Supporting the Central Europe Business Unit team with ad hoc data requests and projects
- Generating weekly, monthly, and quarterly HR reports from Workday (our HR system) and GMS (our time-management system)
- Coordinating HR processes e.g., absence management, case management, etc
- Producing emails, letters and documentation as and when required
- Working in collaboration with core business functions including Payroll, Finance, and the Recruitment team
- Proactively seeking opportunities for process improvement and optimization
About you:
This position would suit someone with the following skills, knowledge, experience and attributes:
- The ability to read, write and speak German and English is essential
- Minimum of 1-year previous experience working in a HR Administrator/Coordinator role, preferably within a professional services company
- Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Ability to work on your own as well as part of a large team based in various locations
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Capability to work to strict deadlines and remain calm under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to deal with information in a discreet, professional and confidential manner
- Excellent people skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Previous experience of working with HR software. Knowledge of Workday would be desirable but is not essential
