We have an opening for an experienced, innovative, strategic Jr. Quality Assurance Analyst in our Blacklick, OH office. Does this sound like you?
Reporting to the Sr. Director of Application Support Services, the Jr. Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for assisting the Quality Assurance and Test team in process, execution, development and innovation of quality assurance & testing methods and tools for the GTS Business Systems department. This role is focused on back office software applications providing feedback and recommendations on technical quality.
Critical Functions:
• Provide assistance to the GTS Business Systems Quality Assurance and Test team to ensure software delivery is efficiently completed to QA standards.
• Improve efficiencies by introducing innovation and effective strategies across the QA cycle and SDLC process.
• Conduct QA functional testing and find defects as early as possible in the SDLC.
• Work with other team members to review testing status on daily basis.
• Understand SDLC process and apply/modify QA techniques accordingly.
• Test and respond to Software Quality Assurance issues.
• Provides effective communication regarding issues.
A successful candidate will have:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
• Understanding of different software development life cycles concepts (Agile, waterfall, iterative, etc.).
• Understanding of concepts related to software quality assurance process and automation.
• Experience with Office Productivity tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
