Responsibilities
The Inventory Analyst will be responsible for tracking commercial inventory, coordinating internal sales processes with Account Services Representatives & Sales Planners and work closely with Pricing & Planning in supporting the Ad Sales Strategic Planning Group.
Manage commercial inventory and recommend strategies for optimum use of network avails
Generate, track, update and distribute assigned sales reports – Inventory (National & DR), pre-emptions, options, etc.
Work with sales to optimize inventory by allocating weekly moves and recaps where needed
Maintain, distribute & monitor liability reports; Monitor Stewardship by maintaining deal delivery
and maximizing revenue
Assist in processing and managing MSA posting; focusing on generating quarterly reports, entering/maintaining data & interacting with vendor
Coordinate with ASRs & planners to understand & enforce all Sales Administration deadlines, policies and procedures as directed by Vice President, Strategic Planning
Various projects and assignments upon business needs
Qualifications/Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: (4,000 character limit)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
BA/BS degree required
Minimum 2-3 years experience in media sales environment
Previous experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice
Must be willing to work in New York, NY.
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be 18 years or older
Desired Characteristics
Prior experience in Sales Planning or Commercial Operations
Excellent computer skills, demonstrated analytical ability and organizational/project management skills
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel
Working knowledge of On Air and Nielsen rating system preferred
Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate/negotiate effectively with all levels within the organization
Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, deadline-driven media environment
Passion for television and entertainment landscape
