Responsibilities:
The International Program Director Ecommerce is responsible for the overall Project Management of Ecommerce project activities for Company & Company (KATE) and brands such as Company, Jack Spade, and ADG. This includes review and management of Ecommerce architecture decisions, management of Demandware SI and the overview and validation of Demandware SI design and development status.
The responsibility also includes monitoring of the brands’ project status, Integrations with OMS and WMS systems, Integrations with middleware integrators, Integration with third party partners applications (Email Service Provider, Web analytics, etc) and partner contracts.
This position will require regular project reviews with the Project Management Team, Project Brand Teams (with Brand’s project manager and stakeholders), Demandware SI, brand Project managers, overview of third party contracts, and scheduled Steering Committee meetings.
Responsibilities:
• Be the ultimate resource responsible for every aspect of International Ecommerce projects with initial focus on launching a full end to end Ecommerce experience in China.
• For the purposes of Ecommerce projects, this position will require interaction and status updates from Demandware SI Project Manager and Engagement Manager, Brand Project Managers, KS&Co. IT Resources, 3rd party OMS and Fulfillment services, and third party Vendors.
• Open to working alternate hours from the U.S. to accommodate overlap with Honk Kong time and available for significant travel to Honk Kong for critical project activities.
• Work with brands to ensure business requirements, objectives, and drivers related to ecommerce sites/functionality are identified and delivered according to a mutually agreed upon plan.
• Ensure key ecommerce partners are identified, the necessary business agreements (MSAs and SOWs) are established, and work activities with the partners are identified and managed
◦ Support identification and selection of partners as appropriate.
• Validate the appropriate deployment strategy is developed and is translated into a strategic plan.
• Validate End to End and appropriate User Acceptance Test Plans are in place covering all requirements to validate solution is working.
• Work with key partners, functional PMs, and brand PMs to develop the master project plan which integrates and tracks against each individual partner, functional, and brand plan at an appropriate level.
• Work with partners to proactively identify roadblocks and provide the requisite resources and tactics to remove them.
• Partner with corporate IT to ensure that security measures are:
◦ In corporate into all contracts
◦ Appropriately maintained.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 7-10 years technology leadership experience (Application Systems) in a vertical retail environment and a minimum of 5 years management in an Ecommerce environment
• Must have experience in Ecommerce solution design and development and implemented multiple sites. Content/Currency localization is a plus.
• International experience along with International rollouts in digital Ecommerce is a must!
• Flexibility to spend time between the various offices such as our Corporate office in NJ, NY offices and Hong Kong/China HQ.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
