Have you ever wondered how English language books are marketed, promoted, and sold internationally? Join the Company International Sales & Marketing department and be a part of the team that’s making that happen every day!
We are seeking an International Marketing Assistant to work closely with the Director of International Marketing and provide general administrative, marketing, and publicity support to the department. The Assistant will also help with preparation for International Book Fairs and Sales Conferences, while interacting with staff based in our NYC headquarters and located across ten countries.
Some of the specific responsibilities include:
1. Creating and maintaining sell-in materials such as catalogs, point of sale materials and sell-sheets for all Company divisions, as well as for distribution clients.
2. Handling the distribution of digital assets, including book trailers and visuals for social media, to key accounts.
3. Coordinating galley and material mailings and managing e-galley requests on Netgalley and Edelweiss.
4. Assisting with processing international publicity requests, managing social media sites, and maintaining influencer and account contact database.
5. Attend and report on publishers’ weekly sales and marketing meetings, as needed.

• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities
• Strong interest in international publishing
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Experience with social media platforms (ex. Facebook, Twitter, HootSuite, WordPress) is preferred
• Prior experience in publishing and/or marketing is a plus
