Summary of Position:
Company Internship Program – Summer 2017
Santa Monica, CA / June 5 – August 11, 2017 / 25 hours per week maximum
Company is the leading independent filmed entertainment studio with a strong and diversified presence in motion pictures, television programming, home entertainment, family entertainment, video-on-demand and digital distribution of content.
The Company Internship Program is designed to provide interested students with a hands-on experience in the entertainment industry.
Please read the following information carefully before submitting an application.
Important Dates:
• The Company Summer Internship Semester will run from June 5 – August 11, 2017.
• The last day to apply is Friday, January 20, 2017 at 5PM PST. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
• All interns are required to attend orientation on either Monday, June 5 OR Tuesday, June 6, 2017.
Details:
• All internships are located in Santa Monica, CA, unless otherwise stated. Interns must provide their own housing and transportation.
• Interns can work a minimum of 10 hours/week and up to a maximum of 25 hours/week.
• All internships are paid.
• Interns must be rising juniors through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date).

Experience & Skills:
TV Digital Production:The interns in the TV Digital Production department will have the opportunity to complete coverage and assist on various projects. By the end of the semester, interns will have learned a basic understanding of the Company TV department, how to write good coverage, how to cover a desk, and basic office etiquette. The position requires a reliable, self-motivated hardworking individual with a great attitude and desire to learn. The majority of your time here will be spent reading TV scripts, feature scripts, novels, plays, international formats and writing coverage. We expect our interns to have strong written and verbal communications skills.
