Job Description
We are currently offering internships within our Sports Programming Department located in New York, New York. The Sports Programming Department in NYC programs NFL and Mad Dog Radio. Interns will work directly with these channels and assist with general show functions in an active newsroom and live studio environment. Tasks include, but are not limited to, researching topics, call screening, audio editing, and working with live audio board.
Job Description:
Learn and assist with daily operations for a radio show - audio editing, screening calls, learning how to run the sound board, research, sitting in on interviews and studio during show.
Requirements:
Ideal candidate should have a background in radio / communications, interest in a variety of sports and knowledge in radio software tools (not a must).
Goals and Objectives for this Internship: Intern will learn what goes into a producing a radio show. Daily goals will include printing out materials for talent and learning all the the skills and components required for a show.
