The 6-12 Marketing Intern will learn about the role integrated marketing plays in a publishing/edTech environment while contributing to ongoing marketing plans for key 6-12 programs. The Intern will work closely with the 6-12 Marketing Managers and will spend time observing, contributing, and finally leading various projects touching a variety of programs offered by Company.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate within marketing to bring the voice of the customer to everything you do.
• Review and translate insightful, comprehensive market research to understand the needs of the market and drive program success.
• Develop campaign messaging for marketplace.
• Segment audience to maximize campaign impact.
• Provide support for key summer events.
• Bring insightful questions that challenge the status quo.
A successful candidate will:
• Be enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of Higher Education, studying Marketing, English, Journalism or related area of study.
• Outstanding communicator in written, verbal, and visual forms, with samples available.
• Solid technical skills including fluency in MS Office.
• Analytical thinker with strong collaboration skills.
• Results oriented with a sense of urgency.
• Desire to learn, ask questions and challenge conventional thinking.
• Always acts with the highest level of ethics and integrity.
