Coordinates and maintains daily administrative activities, website maintenance, data analysis and additional projects assigned for the offices of the Sr. Vice President, Diversity & Inclusion (SVP/D&I), Vice President (VP) and the Assistant Vice President (AVP).
12 Month Internship Program:
L’Oréal USA has a unique program for recent graduates. It is a full-time paid internship for up to 12 months where you are a fully contributing member of our Corporate Communications team here at L’Oréal. You will receive the hands-on experience and training needed to set you up for future success in the company. To qualify for the program, candidates must have received a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months OR must have graduated with a Master’s degree within the last 12 months with no gap more than 5 months in education history.
Key Job Accountabilities
• Leads the Quarterly maintenance of the D&I Website
• Coordinates training, conferences, events in support of D&I
• Coordinates D&I Communications via Planet L’Oreal
• Coordinates additional projects as assigned
• Compiles, researches, analyzes and maintains confidential and marketplace information
• Responsible for Purchase Order Management and timely resolution
• Schedules appointments, meetings, Travel, etc.
Competencies Required
Technical/Professional
• Ability to research information and present findings in a clear, concise and visually appealing manner
• Proficiency in Microsoft office applications of Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with Social Media: Sharepoint, Facebook, Twitter
• Data analysis – Ability to evaluate data to assess business implications, and make clear, concise, sound recommendations
• Data management – Solid knowledge of employee data system and integration points
• Administrative skills- Ability to maintain organized, confidential information

Preferred Key Experiences (Prior to this position)
• Within 12 months of achieving a Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or one-two year equivalent combination of education and experience
• Coursework/understanding of Cultural Diversity, Human Resources, Data Analytics, Economics, Communications, a plus
• Ability to calculate figures, percentages
• Interacting with multiple departments and levels of management
• Strong organizational and management skills required
• French language skills, a plus
• Ability to travel to meetings between NY/NJ
• Experience managing events
