Company English has an excellent opportunity available for an ESL Associate Sales Representative.
ESL Associate Sales Partner is responsible for professionally promoting Company Education ELT solutions to educational professionals with the goal of achieving assigned sales targets in their respective areas of responsibility. The Associate Sales Partner will play a critical individual sales and sales support role, striving to achieve revenue targets.
In this position you will be responsible to partner with your outside Sales Reps through the sales process for all their accounts enabling them to maximize their time in the field and to increase our potential to win sales. Additionally, you will be independently responsible for winning adoptions/sales in your territories meeting agreed targets.
In addition to your salary, your incentive plan will reward your contribution to the achievement of collective and individual sales goals in the territories that you are partnering with.
Responsibilities:Partner with sales territories playing a critical role in delivering agreed revenue targets by doing, but not limited to, the following:
• You will have individual responsibility for delivering agreed revenue targets across the C accounts (under $10k) within your assigned territories, managing the entire sales process independently. This will require you to scope the sales opportunity within each territory and prospect and win new business remotely, using electronic and phone-based sales and marketing tactics to achieve this. This role as direct revenue accountability.
• You will partner with your sales reps through the sales process for all their A & B accounts (A=$25k+, B=$10-25k) accounts enabling them to maximize their time in the field. This will involve frequent daily communication with your reps, proactive and independent engagement with the sales process (pre, mid and post) for their A & B accounts, anticipating and predicting reps and customer needs and taking an independent and proactive role in helping to identify, prospect and close business for existing and new accounts. This will also involve researching funding opportunities within your territories.
This is not a reactive role. It will require you to immerse and embed yourself in the sales process, pre-empting next steps. It is expected that you will anticipate the needs of your reps and provide a proactive approach to supporting them. You will be required to use Sales Force to keep minute-by-minute track of your activities and actions so that your reps also have real time access. You will be expected to ensure that the reps you support are fully aware of all activities/tasks you are undertaking/have undertaken and they are in the loop at all times. Some of the tasks that may be involved in this area are:
• Supporting the sales process by engaging with A & B accounts by phone and email, providing product support and information, providing basic technology support, providing price quotes, arranging bundle/value packs, processing and tracking sample copies: exam copies (pre-sale) and desk copies (post-sale)
• Supporting the sales process by resolving customer queries/problems/issues e.g. billing, credit issues, back orders etc.
• Supporting the prospecting of new business within your territories by adapting and executing email campaigns (campaigns that have already been developed by national marketing). In addition to working with your reps to execute other local marketing tactics etc.
• Supporting the prospecting of new business through territory events including booking exhibit space, arranging registrations, preparing book lists, shipping inventory, event promotions, securing attendance and follow up.
• Providing general support to your Sales Reps in managing rep inventory, running tailored business reports etc.
Qualifications
• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong customer service skills and an ability to build rapport and sell over the phone.
• Current ELT product knowledge or the ability and desire to learn quickly.
• Existing selling skills or the ability to be trained.
• Strong attention to detail, able to work accurately under pressure.
• Proven excellent customer service orientation.
• IT skills (including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite) and a proven ability to learn and use multiple systems and platforms.
• A proven ability to execute multiple tasks and prioritize effectively and work at a fast pace, sometimes in stressful situations.
• Critical thinking skills and proven evidence of using these in a work context with a positive impact.
• Understanding of basic financial and budgeting principles.
