DESCRIPTION:
Intern responsibilities will include some or all of the following activities/assignments:
Assist developers with enrollment of application code in static analysis platform
Support ongoing maintenance and developer issues with using static code analysis platform
Audit discovered issue and assist with creating a remediation timeline (if required)
Articulate the need to resolve issues discovered to developers and senior analysis (if required)
Document procedures, best practices, and monthly metrics with regards to the application security program and its success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Understanding of web application and network vulnerabilities including OWASP, Top 10, and SANS Top 25
• Familiarity with security tools & frameworks like Burp Suite, IBM Appscan, Veracode, Checkmarx, Fiddler, Paros Proxy, etc.
• Proficiency in one or more scripting language. E.g. Perl, Python, Shell Scripting etc.
• Proficiency in one or more high level programming languages like Java, PHP, .Net, C, C#, etc.
§ Secure coding practices
§ Security Certifications similar to CEH, CompTIA, Security+, etc.
§ Familiarity with online Info sec portals like WASC, OWASP, SANS, NVD, CWE etc and tools
