The GF IT Americas in Risk & Finance IT is looking for a business analyst in Raleigh. This is a permanent position and primary role is to perform business and technical analysis on Regulatory Reports part of IHC implementation, FED revisions and continues improvement projects, specifically working with IT stakeholders globally, FA Change & FA Regulatory teams in NY & Raleigh to understand the business requirements & processes. Responsibilities include perform technical/design impact analysis, transform business requirements into functional and technical specifications for development and QA teams. The successful candidate should be able to perform data analysis by accessing the data using queries and Axiom portfolios, including mapping the business functions to the data and data model, data reconciliation, gap analysis and work with business analysis, development and QA teams globally. Knowledge of financial instruments with regulatory experience and reporting/analytical skills are required.
Other responsibilities include:
• Collaborate with IT teams globally with efficient communication tools & processes.
• Establish professional working relationship with FA change & Regulatory teams locally and in NY.
• All deliverables should confirm to quality measures.
• Perform front to back analysis to define/propose system processes to automate Regulatory reports.
• Design scalable reporting solutions.
• Manage and actively participate in and contribute to phases of the project lifecycle.

You Offer...
• College degree, Financial and Regulatory Reporting experience.
Essential:
• 10+ years of IT experience with Investment Banking and Regulatory Reporting.
• 4+ years of IT experience with enterprise reporting tools such as Axiom/OBIEE/Business Objects etc.
• Business/Functional analysis experience with Regulatory & balance sheet reporting.
• Experience with FR Y-9C, Country Exposure(FFIEC 009), FFIEC 102, FR Y-12, 9LP reports.
• General Ledger knowledge.
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent management, planning and organizational skills.
• Proven business analysis skills, including business and functional specification development.
• Proven team player with a flexible approach - Self-starter.
• Knowledge of Investment Banking business processes.
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Highly motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
