Responsibilities
Company is seeking a Hub Operations Coordinator to work within a driven and highly-motivated team that supports master control origination for Company’s Owned Television Stations. This operation is located in Centennial, Colorado within Company’s existing Dry Creek Broadcast Operations Center.
Job Duties
Drive reliability within a fast-paced, multichannel on-air operations environment and work to maintain 99.999% on-air availability and reliability for all channels.
Apply critical day-of-air changes dictated from Traffic to over 70+ automation playlists.
Track and manage media deliveries and purges to and from the on-air playout environment.
Liaise with customers from the Owned Stations’ Traffic and Promotions teams to request missing media and ensure timely delivery of materials to the on-air playout environment.
Fulfill daily log appends procedures to ensure continuity across all automation playlists.
Manage and maintain 10+ back-up playlists to provide redundancy and disaster recovery for the Owned Stations.
Fulfill Master Control Operator responsibilities as needed, including monitoring on-air streams and rolling commercials breaks.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
1 year of experience working in a master control environment.
1 year of experience working with traffic and promotions teams.
1 year of experience working with media asset management systems. Mediator preferred.
1 year of experience working with automation systems. Snell Morpheus preferred.
Thorough understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.
