Position Summary
As a Senior Medicaid Encounter Data Analyst, you will be responsible for researching, analyzing, summarizing and categorizing Medicaid Encounter rejects from various states. You will have the opportunity to be part of a new team within Company fully dedicated to working with Medicaid Encounter Response Files. As we are building this team, we need candidates who will enjoy working with large amounts of data and be able to find creative solutions to issues. To be successful in this role, you will need to be a self-starter who also has great communication skills to work directly with clients on a weekly basis to resolve issues. High attention to detail is also a very important component to this position.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional work experience, preferably in a related field such as data analysis.
- 1+ years of experience using Excel and Access in a professional or academic setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Medicaid Encounter experience and/or PBM experience
- 3+ years experience with Excel and Access (and have previously built queries)
- Must have strong problem solving skills with the ability to work independently
- Great communication skills, as the position will involve communicating with clients
Education
Verifiable Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
