As the Head of Social Media Strategy you will be joining and leading Supercall’s social media team, creating original content and finding new audiences for stories on cocktails, spirits and drinking culture in general. You will be working to grow reach and engagement across all platforms, develop strategy for video output and generating site growth via audience acquisition and other avenues.
Our ideal candidate is a social media guru with insights about video and a knowledge of the drinking world. He or she should be excited and hungry to make Supercall a household name amongst beverage professionals and amateurs alike.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee social media strategy
• Build and maintain partnership roster
• Collaborate with editorial on story selection, trend/news selection, art and headlines
• Manage social media coordinator
• Work with art team and editorial to promote and create original content and videos
• Work with existing Group 9 brands to share best practices and cross-promote content
• Identify new growth opportunities and audiences
• Interpret data to better guide and grow the brand
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years relevant experience in digital publishing (preferably with a focus on the food/beverage sphere)
• Knowledge of spirits and cocktails, tapped into the bar industry
• Highly organized with an extreme attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience managing one or more people
• Experience with Google Analytics, Facebook Insights and Chartbeat
• Strong understanding of social media and demonstrable experience driving content to and from various social media platforms
• Experience with video (coming up with ideas for videos, packaging videos, curating videos for specific audiences)
