Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
Aveda, America’s premier creator and marketer of plant-based haircare, skincare, make-up, PureFume™ and lifestyle products seeks a Guest Relations Lead Coordinator to assist Guest Relations Team Lead and Assistant Team Lead with daily job essentials and projects while providing excellent interpersonal relations with Institute guests, students and team members.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• In conjunction with the Guest Relations Team Lead, manage the third floor reception area including: staffing, ordering supplies, cleaning schedule, guest flow for massage and esthiology services, confirmation calls, process service/retail transactions and daily revenue deposits.
• Resolve guest and team challenges independently with fair and positive resolution.
• Ensure maximum booking capacity through knowledge and understanding of Salon Biz and Aveda Institute policies and procedures.
• Suggest additional services, treatments and gift cards when making guest reservations.
• Daily monitoring, managing, and promoting of AIM’s online presence and reputation in accordance with the Company Social Media policy through websites such as facebook.
• Partner with the Guest Relations Manager to plan and oversee monthly marketing events that promote filling the esthiology and massage appointment book.
• Fulfill role of Guest Relations Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader in his/her absence.
• Offer recommendations for improving overall team atmosphere, productivity and proficiency.
• Assist in proper scheduling of guest reservations with program team leaders/review booking times to ensure maximum clinic capacity.
• Work openly and effectively with a diverse clientele base.
• Plan and participate in personal and team goals.
• Be proactive with environmental awareness and lifestyle.
• Fulfill role of Institute concierge / host as appropriate.
• Openly take on new responsibilities as designated.
Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, college degree in business or related field preferred.
Cosmetology or Esthiology license beneficial; Aveda graduates preferred.
Experience:
2-3 years previous customer service experience in the service industry.
1-2 years leadership experience preferred.
Previous computer experience working with Microsoft office required
Previous experience working with scheduling software preferred
Other:
Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and motivational skills required.
Previous computer experience including in-depth knowledge of social media avenues.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
Familiar with cosmetology terminology is beneficial.
