Description
As a Group Director, Digital Strategy, the candidate will shape content planning from initial strategy and solutions to implementation and post-launch optimization.
He/She will lead integrated communications teams to generate game changing solutions for clients by collaborating closely with internal account management, brand planners, creative, production, UX and analytics teams and pushing all members of the team to come up with more creative answers to our client’s problems.
He/She will additionally be tasked with raising the levels of content strategy skills in Company’s strategy department through mentoring and educating of the junior members of the team.
Externally, he/she will be expected to grow relationships with clients and educate them on content opportunities. They will be able to present their findings and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, as well as build relationships with potential content partners.
Abilities required will include:
• Excellent problem solving skills and a love for content challenges.
• Ability to define standards, processes, and governance that support digital product architecture, including metadata and taxonomy standards, policies, and architectures.
• Ability to conduct competitive analysis and content audits to provide recommendations on content standards, needed improvements, and content gaps.
• Use online listening, supplemental research and daily community learnings to provide insights for improving programs and enhancing program successes.
• Research and identify social media best practices and relevant brand examples within the space for proposals and online audits
• Be self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
• Work closely with account, planning, creative and production teams to ensure proper messaging is being executed online and that it is relevant to client goals.
• Ability to mentor junior members of content and social strategy team with an eye to skill development.
• Having an ability to weigh in on design decisions with an understanding of strategic goals.
• Expertise in data technologies that will assist in building content and social recommendations.
