Job Description:
The Group Director manages the analytics relationship/team across a book of CI business. This person has ultimate responsibility for all work done by their team and is also responsible for fostering industry-leading capabilities as well as helping to set the team vision/strategy nationally and locally.
Responsibilities:
Job Specific
• Defines project deliverables, timelines and dependencies (team members, internal stakeholders, clients).
• Manages team performance, sets the vision/ strategy and facilitates team operations to deliver timely, quality deliverables.
• Leads (and is the voice of) local/national
• CI by driving CI initiatives; elevates the work, provides training, shares knowledge and best practices.
• Recruits/retains high-performing individuals.
• Provides thought leadership internally/ for clients.
• Authors white papers, POVs and other industry thought capital; attends/speaks at conferences.
• Functions as SME in a domain (mobile, performance marketing, ecommerce, web analytics or social).
Management/Leadership
• Manages a team performing analyses (advertising performance, website analytics, customer segmentation, survey design/analysis, ROI modeling, lifetime value, cross channel and media mix analysis, brand research).
• Creates measurement strategies, learning agendas and roadmaps using input from internal stakeholders.
• Packages deliverables in an articulate, easy- to-understand format with a clear storyline.
• Understands the client’s business, develops innovative, problem-solving approaches and presents deliverables that articulate business value/impact.
• Maintains positive, collaborative partnerships (with internal stakeholders and clients).
• Demonstrates strong analytical, project management, storytelling and communica-tion skills.
• Partners with BD to identify opportunities for business growth and development (new/ existing accounts)
Qualifications:
Education
• BS, MBA or MS in quantitative studies or equivalent
Experience
• 10+ years in a quantitative business
• 5+ years in marketing
Milestones
• Has successfully led large-scale/complex marketing analytics
• Has mastered the digital analytics space and innovated to develop new
• Has demonstrated thought leadership within an analytics domain and has evolved that
• Has exhibited strong communication skills with “C” Level; can explain complex concepts to diverse
