Job Introduction
Our Global Media Partnership proposition is at the heart of some of the biggest challenges and opportunities Company are experiencing as a media business. We pick winners, partners that are open to innovation with an appetite to move the focus away from trading to transformation. Based in London and reporting to Clive Record (Head of Global Media Partnerships).
We work with partners that have true global scale, are video centric, mobile first and interesting data. As a Global Media Partnerships Director you will be working with these partners to deliver on transformative, strategic-led initiatives that drive the digital agenda for our business, our media planners and beyond.
You’ll work collaboratively and alongside the global strategic and planning community to launch these initiatives that help change the way we create, plan or think. A key part of the role will be to travel to local markets to transfer knowledge and activate our projects at a global scale.
Role Responsibility
• Build trusted bonds with our Global Media Partners and key stakeholders from across the network. Work with our Global Media Partner leads across the globe.
• Help manage the partnership with our Global Media Partners, whilst keeping an eye on the market to understand who we could partner with next.
• Help to define the role of our global media partners within our planning processes and within the digital economy.
• Develop, own and launch transformational strategic projects that become new global agency capability products that benefit our planners and our clients.
• Build and present visually exciting presentations or marketing material.
• Evangelise and educate local markets about key GMP projects focused around online video and mobile. Work closely with local market Amplifi and op-co teams to coach them, and bring them up to consistent levels of understanding.
• Develop inspiring thought leadership that help position Company as an industry thought leader.
• Build awareness of Global Media Partnerships projects and capabilities across the planning community.
The Ideal Candidate
• A planner / strategist with 8 years + agency experience.
• A strong understanding of digital media and the role it can play within integrated media or communications plans.
• A business and brand thinker, who understands the relationship between media and business outcomes.
• Experience in partnering and advising creative & media teams to help them develop better work.
• A strategic thinker that can deliver projects on time.
• Can influence effectively internally and externally.
