Overview
As Company’s Global Marketing Director – Search, Social & Content Marketing, you will lead teams across geographies and business units responsible for the development and optimization of Paid Search, SEO, Social Media, and Content Syndication campaigns. You will monitor and provide thought-leadership to the entire company around the ever-changing world of search engines (from Google to Baidu) and ensure compliance with guidelines, algorithms, and content development best practices to maximize our presence. You will partner with Product, Technology and Creative resources throughout the company to optimize the performance of all search, site, and content marketing efforts.
• Responsible for developing specific success metrics, creating and managing reporting, and analyzing results by leveraging 3rd party tools, search engine tools, as well as internal data sources.
• Monitor and manage health of websites, ensuring discoverability of content and information and generating increased traffic and revenue.
• Work with copy writers, merchants, and the content and design teams to optimize site content, find content gaps and strategically build internal and external links.
• Effectively interface with key constituents and stakeholders across content, creative, customer digital brand marketing, and IT. In addition, the position must manage third party online agencies and technology partners.
• Work with the website team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented.
• Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
• Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions.
• Create a prospect and customer knowledge base and a feedback loop to inform Product and Marketing teams.
About the Team
Company’s Corporate Marketing Team is primarily responsible for elevating Company’s Brand by accelerating relevance and awareness among key audiences and influencers and accelerating Company’s marketing effectiveness by leveraging data, technology, insights, and streamlined processes to make marketing more efficient & effective.
Required Education and Experience
Applicants must meet one of the following education and experience requirements:
• 10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent or
• 8 years of relevant experience and a Master’s degree or
• 5 years of relevant experience and a PhD
Required Skills
• Experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, Bing, and other biddable media platforms
• Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
• In-depth, hands-on experience with bid management tools (e.g. Click Equations, Marin, Kenshoo, Search Ignite)
• Experience with website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
• Experience with A/B and multivariate testing and optimizing search copy and landing pages
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO, SEM, social media, and content syndication
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy in order to make smart optimization decisions and recommendations

• Understanding of the B2B customer journey and the interrelationships between Marketing and Sales
