This position supports the Global Fulfillment Distribution and Transportation Process team on business and systems initiatives, process improvements, and issue resolution.
• Support operation activities for business initiatives, operations ramp up or ongoing operations as needed
• Assist Global Fulfillment project managers on project assignments such as Description of Operations, business and functional requirement, testing, training, and standard operating procedures according to company standards
• Communicate and follow tasks and responsibilities related with initiatives to drive on time deliverables
• Communicate process and risk on assigned activities to project managers or business managers
• Capture reports requirements, assist on report design prototypes that fit business needs, and coordinate report testing and end user approval
• Ability to support ad-hoc information needs by working with system analyst or end users that have the ability to extract systems information
• Understand supply chain processes to help operations resolve business or systems issues and properly escalate and document issues to other areas (Business or IT)
• Identify process improvements and properly communicate to project or business managers for approval, prioritization or corrective actions
• Analytical capability to support problem resolution, develop data modeling for operations decision making and propose to-be process flows
• Liaison between business and IT to provide solutions
• Analyze business trends to help users make business decisions
Experience and Skills
• Knowledge of organizational work processes and ability to get tasks accomplished across functional boundaries
• Strong organizational, project management and coordination skills
• Time management skills and proven ability to work within constrictive timelines
• Ability to manage and lead through influence
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Warehouse Management systems super user experience
• 1-3 years Supply Chain Management /experience in the retail industry
• Proficient in English, other languages a plus
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Access)
• Systems and SQL experience a plus
