DESCRIPTION
Company Studios launched in 2010 as a new way to develop feature films and episodic series—one that’s open to great ideas from creators and audiences around the world. Anyone can upload a script online for Company Studios to review, and those who choose to make their projects public can also receive feedback from the Company Studios community.
Company Studios Original Content is available to Prime members and is known for bringing customers the Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-winning series Transparent and Mozart in the Jungle along with original hits like The Man in the High Castle, The New Yorker Presents, Red Oaks, Hand of God, Bosch, and Catastrophe . Prime members also have access to a collection of Company Original series for kids such as Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street, Wishenpoof, Just Add Magic, and the Annecy, Annie, and multi-Emmy Award-winning Tumble Leaf. Company Studios’ first original movie, Spike Lee’s Chi-Raq, premiered in theatres in 2015, with more coming soon.

Summary
The Global Executive Creative Director (ECD) for Prime Video Brand and Conent is responsible for developing, implementing and iterating on the creative vision for the Prime Video brand and design language as reflected in all collateral (branding, creative campaigns, show creative, etc.) and product designs globally. To achieve this, the ECD will lead a team of creatives who will collaboratively a) define the Prime Video brand design vision, b) establish an elegant and immediately recognizable brand design language, c) develop processes and artefacts to manage this language, d) evangelize this brand vision and design language globally, and e) act as a stakeholder in all Prime brand, creative, marketing and product design decisions globally in order to ensure the high bar for consistency and quality is maintained with all creative.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboratively establish the creative vision and design strategy for the Prime Video brand and provide oversight (direct and dotted line) for the team of Creative Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and support staff in Seattle, LA, and EU responsible for implementing this vision and strategy across the globe.
Define a bold, elegant, and instantly recognizable brand design language that takes Prime Video to the next level, drives engagement, and builds strong equity with customers worldwide while maintaining clear familial ties to Company and the broader video brand.
Establish clear processes and artefacts that will enable teams across the globe to implement the brand vision and design language in creative campaigns, show creative (e.g. key art, title treatments, trailers), marketing assets (e.g. logo usage, site placements, social, email), and product designs. These could include brand books, style guides, review processes, localization strategies, and other elements centered on bringing teams together toward a common vision for how the brand will be reflected in all creative.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Define a bold, elegant, and instantly recognizable brand design language that takes Prime Video to the next level, drives engagement, and builds strong equity with customers worldwide while maintaining clear familial ties to Company and the broader video brand.
• Establish clear processes and artefacts that will enable teams across the globe to implement the brand vision and design language in creative campaigns, show creative (e.g. key art, title treatments, trailers), marketing assets (e.g. logo usage, site placements, social, email), and product designs. These could include brand books, style guides, review processes, localization strategies, and other elements centered on bringing teams together toward a common vision for how the brand will be reflected in all creative.
• Closely collaborate with the Head of Marketing and marketing leaders globally on content, marketing and content creative strategy to ensure the brand vision is clearly encapsulated in the team’s thinking and planning at all levels.
• Through market research, data analytics and other means, measure and report on the effectiveness of the Prime Video Brand strategy and iterate or course correct when needed.
• Evangelize the Prime Video brand strategy and vision across Company and with key third party partners worldwide.
• Partner with the Company Video Product Design team to foster a design culture that enables world class creative development and attracts the best talent in all locales.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 15+ years experience with design, art/creative direction in entertainment media/marketing.
• Possess strong decision making skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong creative and project management skills.
• Ability to operate with significant autonomy and discretion.
• Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a significant budget.
• Ability to manage multiple, complex projects that are global in nature under extremely tight deadlines.
