Purpose
The Accommodations Assistant will support the Game Services team in the organization and administration of people and logistics within several hotel and apartment properties for the upcoming Winter Olympics, PyeongChang 2018.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a project / limited term position with an estimated end date of mid-March 2018; unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate assignments and lists in the NBC sports management system, providing updates and rooming lists to each property and serving as a liaison between the NBC Accommodations team and the hotels when a language barrier is present.
Serve as support for NBC employees when issues arise at their accommodation site(s).
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organizational skill.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
Eligibility Requirements

Must be willing to work in Stamford, CT/ PyeongChang Korea
Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Must be “on call” 24 hours a day / 7 days a week

Desired Characteristics
Previous hotel or accommodations experience a plus.
Event Management experience preferred
Korean verbal and written skills are wanted, but not a requirement.
