About the Team
The Product Photography and Styling team are committed to creating and delivering high-quality product photography for the best client experience. We collaborate internally with our Merchandising, Design, Marketing and Creative teams in order to successfully deliver beautifully styled on-figure, video, wall pin-up and lay down images. About the Role
As the Freelance Product Styling Sample Coordinator, you will enter into a partnership with the Product Photography and Styling team in this exciting time as we begin the process of moving into a brand new photo studio. You will be responsible for checking in wardrobe samples into our database and facilitate with various areas of sample management for the photo studio. You will be highly detail oriented and organized with the intent to continually make improvements in the sample management flow through the photography process. You will be able to meet deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously and be flexible to the ever-changing environment of a fast-growing company. Candidates with experience in retail and/or high volume photographic production preferred.
You're excited about this role because you will...
• Manage and organize inbound samples by collecting, checking in, labeling and organizing racks with the partnership of our Photo Production team.
• Organize and log samples by priority date using our internal database
• Prep and steam samples, when needed, for daily photo shoots for Product Stylists
• Efficiently track and follow up on missing or reshoot merchandise
• Return all finalized product to their specific racks or sample closet
We're excited about you because...
• You are a college graduate (degree in fashion, styling, merchandising or related field preferred) and have 1 year of merchandising experience
• You are able to work in our downtown San Francisco studio during office hours.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/PowerPoint) and are familiar with Gmail, Google Docs, Google Calendar and Google Drive
• You must be able to lift 25lbs
• You are a quick problem solver with a proven ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• You are self-driven and able to effectively communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a multi-team environment.
• You have excellent communication and organizational skills, both verbal and written.
• You thrive in high-volume, fast-paced and feedback driven environments.
• You’re highly self-motivated, have a stellar work ethic and you’re looking for the right company to support your growth.
