We are currently seeking an experienced and driven Finance Analyst to join Company’s Finance department. Our Finance team enjoys a strong partnership with our various business including assessments, services, digital, course-ware, operations and enabling functions.
The ideal candidate will have good technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills and feel comfortable providing specialised support for the Record to Report, Purchase to Pay, Tax, Treasury and Statutory Accounting functions both from a control and performance perspective.
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of materiality and ability to prioritise across competing agendas
• Understanding of financial control processes and functions.
• A understanding of the Australian tax environment and ASIC requirements
• Strong control environment and compliance with regulatory reporting and audit requirements.
• Leverage of analytics and business intelligence tools to provide accurate and timely information for management decision making.
• Experience using Oracle and Hyperion systems and Smartview tools viewed favourably
• Demonstration of strong performance against targets and key performance indicators and an ability to focus on value-added activities.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in accounting or related field.
• Completion or part completion of ICAA, CPA or relevant accounting or finance professional qualification viewed favourably.
