NBC Sports Regional Networks, part of the NBC Sports Group, consists of 9 regional networks that deliver more than 2,400 live sporting events annually, along with breaking news, comprehensive analysis, digital content and original programming, to more than 50 million homes. Responsibilities
Responsible for full month-end close procedures
Prepare and document monthly Balance Sheet account reconciliations and analysis
Prepare and record monthly manual journal entries and upload into the general ledger
Analyze monthly revenue and expenses and update trend analysis
Review fixed asset roll-forward schedule
Analyze, maintain and forecast rights and event production expense
Compare and analyze actual versus budget and forecast
Assist local Finance Director with forecasting and budget
Assist in audit requests from external and internal auditors
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum two (2) year's hands on accounting or finance experience
