About Us
Company is launching a new Telemundo-owned station in San Diego. This is an exciting project that will expand NBC 7 / KNSD’s news staff with a new team of Spanish-speaking and bilingual journalists to launch the new station. Both news teams will serve local Spanish- and English-speaking viewers. The new Telemundo station team will work closely with KNSD team members in NBC 7’s new state-of-the-art facility in Kearny Mesa, California.

Responsibilities
General Responsibilities: This position will be a key player in the NBCU/TLMD Finance Department. Successful candidates will have a background in accounting or finance, a strong analytic foundation, and a willingness to assume responsibility for a broad range of evolving priorities.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review and process A/P invoices; analyze and reconcile discrepancies
• Facilitate and maintain vendor set-ups in the system
• Maintain correspondence with vendors to ensure proper reconciliation of aging invoices
• Execute fulfillment of monthly A/R invoices and forward checks to lockbox
• Serve as proactive problem solver for vendors, clients, and internal staff
• Reconcile Pcard transactions
• Analyze accounts and record journal entries
• Prepare quarterly account reconciliations
• Establish proper record retention via hard copy and digital filing systems
• Assist in the management of capital expenditures; tag assets and distribute pacing reports
• Develop market trend reports and compare year over year growth
• Assist Finance Department with any adhoc research and reporting projects
• Perform general administrative duties as needed for the station
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Exceptional work ethic
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Self-motivated, team player comfortable dealing with all levels of management
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
