Company is building a work fellowship program in partnership with one of our long-standing workforce development non-profit partners and needs a proven business leader with a passion for launching this innovative job readiness fellowship program.
You are a creative thinker who can work with senior stakeholders inside and outside of Company, while simultaneously developing and implementing on-site fellowship programs that can serve as a model for other non-profit organizations, small businesses and corporations. Everyone knows you as a person who always steps up to volunteer or take a leadership role in philanthropic events. You understand that a well-executed program requires collaboration and teamwork. You're professional and personable, intelligent and analytical. You have an appetite to make an impact in the community.
If this sounds like you, you’d be the perfect person to join Company to launch our work fellowship program in partnership with Recruiting, Diversity & Inclusion and Global Philanthropy & Engagement.
We’ll rely on you to
• Develop and execute the work fellowship program with our non-profit partners, opening pathways to successful job placement for adults re-entering the workplace.
• Work with Recruiting and Global Philanthropy & Engagement to facilitate a comprehensive interviewing and Fellow placement and onboarding process – managing senior business leaders’ expectations and feedback.
• Define metrics for program evaluation and track and report progress to senior management over the course of the program.
• Understand professional expectations of supervising non-traditional employees.
• Design and implement an employee-Fellow mentoring program to support Fellows during placement at Company.
• Lead weekly meetings with employee mentors and managers as well as regular update meetings with executive sponsors.
• Lead the packaging and marketing of project documentation, including planning for growth of the program over time.
• Participate in special projects as required.
You’ll need to have
• Excellent communication, active listening, internal consulting, interpersonal, and influencing skills with both senior stakeholders as well as new entrants to the corporate workforce.
• Previous experience in workforce development and program management on a full time or volunteer basis; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience in building and executing strategy, and managing and growing internship/fellowship, job shadowing, career training or similar programs.
• Direct experience with nonprofit programs that have a track record of successful corporate partnerships.
• A bachelor’s degree.
