MISSION/ROLE:
The Facilities Coordinator will work under the direction of the Facilities Manager and will be responsible for providing services which help ensure a safe, healthy and effective or efficient work environment.
CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Responsible for the physical spaces used by Company incorporating the administration of all non-retail related real estate activities (including acquisition and construction), building usage and maintenance
• Ensures the optimal utilization of the organization's facilities
• Assesses and evaluates the physical space requirements of the organization and recommends plans to meet needs
• Ensures proper functioning of facilities through ongoing inspection and maintenance
• Schedules preventive maintenance
• Effectively handle employee service requests and work orders
• Responds to urgent maintenance calls
• Maintain card access & video surveillance systems including HID access cards, security access levels and security camera locations
• Participates in the creation and maintenance of emergency preparedness plans
• Reviews furniture needs
• Keeps office supplies and kitchen areas stocked
• Administrative Assistant responsibilities
• Mail room / Shipping & Receiving Duties
• Front Receptionist coverage
Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• 1-3 years relevant work experience required
• Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC and Carpentry preferred
• Trade certificates a plus
