Company is looking for a EVP, Finance Company Entertainment, who has a strong financial and business acumen with proven experience and established relationships n an Entertainment environment. Critical to the success of this role is the ability, as a member of the department’s senior team, to build and sustain strong, collaborative partnerships. Additionally, this individual must demonstrate the ability to run highly transparent, credible and collaborative financial processes such as annual and quarterly budget forecasts, tracking, create financial modes, innovate around new businesses and reporting.
This role will report into the CEO of Company Entertainment and will have a dotted line to the CFO, Company.

Required Skills:
What you’ll be doing:
• The EVP, Finance Company Entertainment will be responsible for partnering with and advising the CEO of Company Entertainment and Company’s Corporate Finance team on all financial matters related to the division.
• The ideal candidate will have a broad and strong background in finance and accounting in the entertainment or media sector, preferably in the film industry. Previous experience partnering with senior management in managing a P&L is essential.
• EVP, Finance Company Entertainment will have the gravitas to offer solutions and influence key stakeholders regarding corrective action when necessary to ensure that budgeted divisional financial results are achieved.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential to ensure that financial and other information is summarized and presented in a clear and transparent manner for the all interested stakeholders.
• Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Responsibility for the preparation of the division’s annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Monitoring actual results against budgets and forecasts to ensure that budgeted results are achieved.
• Partnering with the CEO Company Entertainment and Senior Management team in overseeing the analysis of all new deals to ensure that all stakeholders are informed and understand the related financial implications to the organization.
• Participating in weekly Corporate Finance team meetings providing insight and updates on the Entertainment division.
What we’re looking for:
• Prior experience in an Entertainment environment.
• University degree – Accounting designation and/or MBA desirable.
• Proven track record of success in prior senior finance roles.
• Strong Financial background/experience managing a budget/P&Ls.
• Must have proven business writing skills particularly in budget performance analysis.
• Demonstrated experience with proactive long range planning.
• Proven reasoning ability, strong executive presence, excellent negotiation, influencing skills and highly organized.
• Should take initiative, be a decisive decision-maker and show confidence in decisions made.
• Proven ability in building and sustaining high performing teams.
• Experience in liaising with multiple operational contacts at executive and senior management levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex business environment with capability to adapt and drive cultural transformation.
• Previous experience in an SAP environment utilizing BPC would be helpful.
• Previous experience in building and evolving business models, particularly with innovative new business lines
