OUR TEAM
The BuyerVision Product teams focus is to lead in the development and building of the highest performing Audiences, Digital Ad Executions, and Cross-Tactic/Cross Channel Workflows, Campaign Management and Execution.
The Executive Director, Product Management -BuyerVision will be essential for advancing our Digital / Mobile offerings as an enabler of moving from an exceptionally high performing single channel solution to an integrated Omni-Channel product suite.
In this role you are responsible for the planning and execution of strategic initiatives that support the extension and development of Omni-Channel solutions while further developing current and new experiences within Digital / Mobile through our Retail partner relationships. This position requires strategic thinking, ingenuity, tenacity, and innovation in extending our capabilities in Omni-channel and creating new product offerings that appeal to our clients and leverage our core assets.
The individual in this role should able to effectively communicate “selling/alignment” on the benefits of Omni-channel delivery for our clients, while painting a compelling picture of the client experience and the ability to understand and speak with data and financial benefits.
Experiences with arbitration of media, growth of content rich experiences, data management and insights are essential. Communication skills are incredibly important as the position interfaces heavily at all levels and across functions both internally and with our external partners.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
The Executive Director, Product Management (Digital) will have full ownership and accountability of their products, with responsibility for the full product lifecycle – from concept to end of life. This individual will work with Engineering, Finance, Sales, Analytics, and Operations, to define product vision based on customer and business feedback and functional needs and requirements. As an outcome of this work, this individual will complete planning and execution of product roadmaps, defining and driving the go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution for new product offerings and releases. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics identification and management are critical to success in this role.
Specifically, the leader will lead the effort that builds infrastructure and experiences for Brand and Retailers to execute their Digital Advertising and Promotions Campaigns. The platform supports the full Campaign Lifecycle across the Marketers Media Spend. This infrastructure powers billions of impressions through our partnerships with Media Execution Partners.
In this role you will need to have a deep understanding of retail customer behavior, digital ecosystem participants and a proven ability to develop and deploy retail Omni-channel solutions that drive significant financial value. You will be a key voice in building a strong digital team. It is essential you have and leverage analytical and quantitative skills, to back up assumptions and recommendations and ultimately deliver the results.
As a key entrepreneurial leader within this organization is able to set a vision, orchestrate a process to execute on that plan, and influence and inspire others to believe. The organization will look for you for leadership, so you need to have experience and confidence to stand your ground but also be flexible and move quickly as requirements or market conditions change.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
• 12+ years experience as a product manager, engineering lead, or combination of the two
• 5+ years of experience leading teams
• Proficiency in collaborating with and leading cross-functional teams and efforts
• Past success managing complex products and integrations in medium to large organizations
• Ability to problem solve quickly and generate flexible solutions
• Experience leading UI/UX and customer facing creative experiences and tools.
• Experience with Data Management Platforms DMP
• Experience with Identity Management, Cookies, Mobile App IDs and Cross Device Identity
• Familiarity with protocols like HTTP and TCP/IP, architectural conventions like RESTful API design and concepts of algorithmic complexity
• Experience with Cloud Computing basics
• Domain experience in Programmatic Advertising in display, mobile, video or TV highly desired
• Additional Experience in Digital Coupons and Promotions a huge plus.
• Experience consuming APIs, writing scripts to automate simple tasks, creating mockups / POCs
• Proficient in Agile development, and able to integrate tightly with business and operations teams.
• Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
• Travel ~15%.
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related work experience. MBA Preferred.
ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS
The candidate applying for the position should have product management experience in the areas of defining Roadmaps for current and future releases, developing business cases, prioritizing requests, assisting in UAT cycle definition and execution, authoring detailed feature-spec documents and evaluation of competitive marketplace, trends and competition are highly desired capabilities for this role. The ideal candidate would have retail or multi-channel solutions (online, mobile, in store) experience and design and/or implementation experience to complement their solid product management skills.
