Responsibilities
Purpose
The executive assistant will report directly to the President of NBC Olympics Production and Programming.
Responsibilities
Administrative duties for this role include: answering phones; managing travel and expenses; controlling calendars and setting meetings; and attending and taking notes for staff meetings.
This position also supports members of the Olympic Production team
Other regular responsibilities include comprehensive research, presentation building, substantive follow up, coordinating special projects and events for both executives and their direct reports.
Handle and coordinate confidential information with detail and due care
Order supplies as need for the Olympics and Production departments
Assist when appropriate in preparation and drafting of documents and presentations
Provide personal assistance on various projects and activities for the Olympics & Production departments
Process departmental invoices and coordinate payments with accounts payable department
Additional duties as assigned , including providing relief support and coverage for other executive assistants as directed
The role requires strong interpersonal skills and demands constant communication across the Olympics and production functions. Chosen applicants would gain comprehensive insight into sports media production and business on all levels—operations, ad sales, marketing, finance, engineering, and production etc.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in related field
Highly proficient across Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Additional Qualifications
Excellent communication and follow-up skills needed
Must be a team player
Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives a must
Solid writing and organization skills
Must be detail-oriented and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Eligibility Requirements

Prior work experience in a related field (Internships included)

Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure.
