Job Title
Exec Asst KMOV
This position plays a key role in ensuring administration of station management runs efficiently and effectively.
Must be trustworthy, deals with highly confidential information. Must have a high level of professionalism, deals with public.
Responsible for critical areas of public file in license renewal and FCC compliance.
Responsible for providing comprehensive admin support for day-to-day operations of human resources ensuring efficient delivery of salary adjustments, recruitment processes, employee records and on-boarding of new hires.
Provides administrative support to VP/General Manager and department heads as needed including but not limited to:
Client ticket and station event coordination.
Manages storm closing system and related activities.
Makes travel arrangements for staff and candidates.
Assists with expense reporting.
II. Essential Job Functions

45%Preparing and posting job advertisements in compliance with FCC EEO reporting, preparing source documents for new hires, pay changes and onboarding of new hires. Maintaining local HR files.
25%Provides daily admin support to VP/GM and department heads assisting with travel arrangements, client ticket coordination, expense reports, conference room scheduling, answering and screening phone calls.
20%Maintains online and local public file and provides coverage for monthly and quarterly FCC reports, ensuring we are incompliance with FCC requirements.
5%Manages 4Warn Storm Alert school closing system, annually coordinating mailings, database updates and answering inquiries.
5%Other duties as assigned.

Education:
Associates degree is preferred with emphasis in business and human resources. Experience in lieu of education will be considered.
Experience:
Five years of high-level administrative experience required.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact courteously and effectively with all levels of Company employees, customers, clients and viewing public.
Must have good problem solving skills. Adaptable to changing priorities, self-starter, ability to meet deadlines.
Must be highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
Must be sensitive to highly confidential information.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint. Experience with Workday is desired.
