SUMMARY
The Exam Processing Specialist I is assigned specific states and is responsible for processing registration materials received on disc, email or hardcopy following specific guidelines and within contractual time frames. Test scores should be in the data base within 2 business days. This will result in certified candidates being placed on their state registry without delay. The Specialist I is also responsible for ensuring test material packages received from assigned states are reconciled within 5 business days, in accordance with contractual guidelines. The Exam Processor confirms accuracy of exam results and works with sub-contractors and/or state representatives to resolve issues. This ensures certified candidates are placed on the registry as soon as possible.
To assist nurse aide evaluators with testing issues, a help desk is provided. This toll-free line is manned by the Exam Processors from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This line is also required to be manned on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Reconciliation of packages received from evaluators
• Confirm receipt and processing of client testing materials
• Identify problems that occur at test sites and take appropriate action
• Make required changes to a candidate’s record
• Follow internal process for documenting issues.
Resolution of test results
Registration Processing
Miscellaneous
• Prepare records for storage
• Process results of Clear Quest tickets
• Respond to Call Escalations received from the Customer Service staff
• Respond to questions/concerns received on the evaluator Help Desk toll-free line.
• Required to work Help Desk Line on occasional Saturdays
• Provide front Desk Coverage as needed
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
• Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education (minimum schooling requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent )and experience required
• Prior experience in data entry/keying required
• One year of customer service experience required (previous call center experience preferred)
• Strong PC skills–Excel, Word, Google Cloud platform or similar Cloud-based platform
