We are a team of event strategists who are focused on producing creative and innovative experiential moments/programs. We are looking for a seasoned event marketer to join our team and continue to elevate our world-class events. This is an event-strategy-driven role, and creative vision weighs just as heavily as project and time management.
We are a part of the Experiential Marketing team within the Brand & Creative Studio and work cross-functionally with various teams: Agency Development, Brand Strategy, Business Development and Developer Platform Relations, Creative, Communications, Finance, Procurement and Sourcing, Sales, and Speaker’s Bureau.
WHAT YOU'll DO
The Event Marketing Manager will help lead our high-visibility events, from conception to budget reconciliation to ROI tracking, and align them with marketing strategy and business goals. Events may include CES, SXSW, Advertising Week, Company Flight, Global Sales Conference, etc. About 25-50% travel will be expected. This role will not have direct reports. We win as a team (must have integrity and no ego).
• Understand the brand and product features in order to bring them to life in the physical space
• Develop creative and innovative event strategy in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders
• Create event marketing plans, presentations, executive communications, and other deliverables
• Manage and be held accountable for contractors, vendors, contracts, production schedules, and budgets
• Work in a fast-paced environment and execute multiple events with competing priorities
• Evaluate event performance, post-event ROI tracking, and wrap-up reports
• Build strong relationships with internal and external partners
• Keep educated on the latest technologies, especially those applicable for events
WHO YOU ARE
• Has a proven track record of leading and executing successful, polished events
• Has applicable industry knowledge (media, advertising, tech, etc.)
• Has established contacts and relationships in the creative, digital, and event industries
• Can communicate effectively: listen, give clear direction verbally and have strong writing skills
• Has experience working closely with senior executives
• Has good judgement, make right on-brand decisions when it’s called for, and know when to seek approval
• Can work independently but on/with a team as well
• Can solve unforeseen situations as they arise in a calm manner
• Has a sense of urgency to solve problems efficiently and quickly
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree
• 6-8 years directly related event marketing experience
• Proficient in: Google Drive (documents, spreadsheets, etc.), Keynote & Salesforce
Desired but not required

• Photoshop
• Tech industry experience
