L.A. LIVE seeks a self-motivated, results-oriented individual to work full-time generating private event revenue through sales of venue rentals at L.A. LIVE. This individual will also have the opportunity to assist in selling ticket packages, group tickets, registrations, and VIP packages to events at local Los Angeles Company properties and venues. Position would be salaried with a commission structure.
The main venue of focus for this position will be the Target Terrace, an outdoor rooftop that sits atop the Company with support for selling L.A. LIVE’s Microsoft Square, Microsoft Theater, and the Event Deck. The sales representative will also have an opportunity to sell group tickets, VIP packages and suites for various Company properties and projects at STAPLES Center, Microsoft Theater and L.A. LIVE, including but not limited to Award shows (People’s Choice Awards, American Music Awards, ESPYS), sporting events and teams (LA Kings, LA Galaxy), Family shows (Harlem Globetrotters, Disney on Ice), and special L.A. LIVE Events (Nike Basketball 3ON3 Tournament, All-Star Chef Classic).
The Event Sales Representative is responsible for reaching sales goals provided by the management team on an annual basis.

Essential Duties:
1. Prospecting new business for L.A. LIVE private event venues. 10% Daily
2. Research new event business coming to Los Angeles. 10% Daily
3. Outbound phone calls and emails to previous clients and new prospect leads. 10% Daily
4. Attend networking events to build new relationships. 5% Monthly
5. Identify the top DMC, event planners, and other top corporate prospects and execute plans to establish relationships with these key targets. Identify opportunities for convincing existing events to move to L.A. Live for future years. 10% Daily
6. Draft contracts (based on templates) and work with Company Legal Team and clients to get contracts to execution. 10% Weekly
7. Provide excellent customer service from moment of inception through end of event. 10% Daily
8. Support the event operations team and Wolfgang Puck catering in planning and executing each event. 10% Weekly
9. Develop and execute customer service plan focused on retaining business for multiple years. %5 Weekly
10. Conduct site visits and tours of L.A. LIVE campus, including coordinating with restaurants and venues that are not under our control. 5% Weekly
11. Work events that often occur on nights and weekend. 5% Daily
12. Assist ticket and suite sales efforts at STAPLES Center, Microsoft Theater and L.A. LIVE. 5% Monthly
13. Work with management team to develop and enhance policies and procedures for department.5% Quarterly
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of: BA/BS Degree (4-year)
2. A minimum of 1-2 years of related work experience in Event Sales.
3. Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills, along with heightened interpersonal skills.

7. Working knowledge of catering, regional venue operations, and/or the special events industry.
8. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to use and pick up on complex computer programs.
9. Ability to multi-task, adapt and re-prioritize based on sales needs.
10. Ability to provide sales reports and contact feedback to management on a daily and weekly basis.
