Job Summary:
The Role:
Live Nation Special Events team, a division of Company, is in search of a highly motivated, organized and most importantly, enthusiastic individual who is interested in working within the hospitality and event-sales industry. As a Live Nation Event Marketing Intern, you will gain valuable, real-world sales & marketing experience for private events while reporting to the Sr. Events Marketing Manager Marketing/Special Events Coordinator, National Director of Sales and assisting the entire Live Nation Special Events department.
Responsibilities:
• Assist event sales & marketing team by making recommendations of new art concepts, promotions and assuring that assets are aligned with brand standards.
• Write creative and relevant copy for promotional use.
• Work with Sr. Manager in requesting, editing and monitoring production of marketing collateral.
• Create excel spreadsheet reports to track specific performances for venues and campaigns.
• Execute weekly reports in a timely manner.
• Research potential clients in industries by market and as assigned.
• Assist with growing special events database and activating email campaigns.
• Help manage division page on company intranet and assist with archives.
• Assist National Director of Sales with shipments and administrative tasks.
• Assist Sr. Events Marketing Manager with assigned marketing initiatives.
• Assist Marketing/Special Events Coordinator with administrative tasks as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school.
• Must be eligible for school credit (and supply a letter from sponsor/administrator upon request).
• A degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Communications is preferred, but not required.
• Must be able to commit to a minimum work schedule of 16 hours per week.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be willing to submit to a background investigation.
• Detail-oriented and exceptional attention to detail is a MUST.
• Eager to learn and be proactive with new tasks.
• The ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
• High proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
We are currently searching for a qualified individual to fill this internship position for the fall semester. The student will work at our Live Nation office in Hollywood.
This internship MUST BE for college credit and runs from January - June. It is a non-paid position with flexible hours (minimum 16 per week – 2 full days) to reflect the need of your college credit requirements.
