Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Product Operations ISG Product Operations encompasses two functionally aligned organisations. The first, Trading & Client Operations, provides Operations functions in direct support of activity executed by Institutional Sales & Trading. The second, Clearing Operations, provides Operations functions in direct support for activity cleared by Company on behalf of our clients in Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivatives, and OTC Derivatives. The broad organisation partners closely with Sales and Trading to develop and implement new products and services as well as drive efficiency and reduce risk in our processes. At all times we are focused on delivering quality service to clients both internal and external. ISG Product Operations partners closely with Shared Services and Banking Operations as well as Branch Operations and Operations Risk & Control to deliver a connected 'front to back' view of operations to ISG Sales and Trading. Team Profile The role falls within EMEA Equity Swap Trade Support which is part of the Global Equity Derivative Operations Group. The team's main responsibilities are : Swap trade capture and validation Lifecycle event processing Exception management Static data maintenance Related project activity (system and process improvements) Product and control oversight for offshore Operations team Project oversight for team initiatives The group is dedicated to providing full support for the flow and structured equity swaps business and has oversight for interest rate swaps for the equity derivative business. Primary Responsibilities: - Reconciliation of Trader's risk products and positions to Firm books and records and investigation and resolution of breaks. - Monitoring of specific system error queues, which require investigation and resolution to ensure the trade flows downstream. - Trade capture and enrichment of equity swaps and related cash hedges, including corporate action validation and related query resolution. - Static data maintenance relating to client spread and commission rules. The role will involve extensive contact with Traders, Financial Controllers, Project teams, Client Service and Global Operations teams and IT along with other related areas that use the output of information from equity swap systems. Qualifications Skills Required: - Bachelor or Masters degree or equivalent - Strong numeracy and analytical skills - Accuracy, attention to detail, good organisation skills - Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, and/or other relevant applications - Strong, previous trade support role experience with exposure to trade life cycles and process flows, reconciliation and control functions - Strong product knowledge in equity swaps or vanilla equity derivatives. - Experience of servicing and working for and with a global network of people. - Experience of leading a team Company is an equal opportunities employer.
