We are looking for a Engineering Team Lead (Chapter Lead) to lead the data area in the Iron Bank tribe in Stockholm. The tribe focuses on our premium subscription business, across the Direct, Wholesale, R&D and Customer Service areas. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in how we use data to drive our subscription business and premium products.
Our organization of technologists, designers, and product managers is located primarily in Stockholm, with close ties to teams in New York.
What you’ll do
• Develop people through coaching, mentoring, and management support
• Participate in data science and data engineering technology architecture discussions
• Grow an amazing team of data engineers and data scientists
• Provide technical guidance in a number of aspects of production data engineering, especially in a Java ecosystem, with Python experience being helpful
• Advocate and promote leadership at all levels within the Company engineering community
• You will work with close counterparts in other disciplines as part of a cross-functional team, and nurture this culture in your team
• Work from our office in Stockholm and be occasionally willing to travel to other Company offices
