Job Description
Working in a dedicated PR group within the EMEA Marketing Department, the EMEA PR Manager is responsible for the strategic product communication for key Company products across the EMEA zone. With an ability to think both creatively and strategically, the successful candidate will need to design compelling communication campaigns that are adaptable and flexible enough to work across the EMEA region.
Collaboration and co-ordination with other internal teams is critical to the role, requiring frequent communication with marketing, development studios, digital and influencer teams, corporate & financial communication as well as local PR managers across our 22 subsidiaries.
This position will report to the EMEA Group PR manager and is based in Montreuil, France.
More precisely, the role will require:
• Creating and implementing innovative communication campaigns for Company products from announcement to beyond launch
• Coordinating with US & LATAM counterparts to ensure all plans are global aligned
• Executing the EMEA PR plan, making sure that all elements required for the EMEA markets are delivered on time and to a high quality
• Coordinating and assisting the local PR teams implement the EMEA strategy in their market
• Lead the organization of press tours and other press events. Manage and direct event agencies as and when required
• Negotiating and managing PR budgets
• Creating and writing media materials and assets, including presentations, articles, press releases, Q&A’s etc..
• Media coaching of management spokespersons and product spokespersons
• Regular reports on PR results for the EMEA zone
• Travel internationally is required
Qualifications
Totally bilingual French-English, you have a 2-year experience in Press Relations in the video game industry or in another entertainment industry and are currently attracted by an international mission.
You have already demonstrated achievements in a fast-paced international work environment and have proven solid project leadership.
Thanks to your creativity, your writing and relational skills, combined with an excellent time management and organizational skills, you are a real expert who knows how to convince externally as well as internally with diplomacy and pertinence.
The ideal candidate possesses a track record in orchestrating successful PR plans using the right and most diverse channels.
A real interest in video games would be appreciated but not required.
Able to connect PR and business needs to develop communications messages and solutions
Able to consistently execute good independent judgment, organize thoughts, and make decisions under time constraints and a full workload without supervision
Extremely detail oriented approach to each assignment, and motivation to consistently meet deadlines
Able to think strategically and creatively and an understanding of all facets of PR and new communications trends, tools, and techniques.
