Timberland eCommerce Site Coordinator
Job Summary:
As part of Timberland's ecommerce team, this role is responsible for item setup, photo shoot sample coordination, promotion setup, and supporting the ecommerce site merchandising team. This individual will leverage content management tools to ensure items are set up and promotions are executed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support site merchandisers with set-up of product status reports, weekly reporting, email proof review, markdowns & sale merchandising, monitoring buys weekly, catalog & Omniture uploads, create style list for refreshes and complete tracking list as site changes and other ad hoc requests. Time Involved: 30% Relative Importance: 5- Very High
2. Samples - manage, order, pull & return samples. Time Involved: 20% Relative Importance: 4- High
3. Images/Photo Assets - set-up photoshoot documents, label photo assets, check images as they come in from the image team, verify inventory for images for social/brand, review and label UGC in Olapic and tag with appropriate style numbers along with monthly reporting. Time Involved: 15% Relative Importance: 4- High
4. Product Reviews - manage product reviews and send monthly reports, work with customer service as needed. Time Involved: 10% Relative Importance: 3- Medium
5. Monitor DYO reports and work with customer service or DR factory as needed & sample ordering. Time Involved: 10% Relative Importance: 3- Medium
6. Promotions - set-up, test and track ecommerce site promotions. Time Involved: 10% Relative Importance: 3- Medium
7. Briefs - submit briefs to Global Creative Services. Time Involved: 5% Relative Importance: 3- Medium
Job Requirements:
Educational/Position Requirements:
• 1-2 years retail experience in site merchandising or marketing preferred
• Experience with database-driven sites and content management tools a plus, but not required
• Bachelor's degree in merchandising, business management or equivalent preferred
Skills:
• Must possess a strong attention to detail, ability to respond to last minute requests and adapt to changes in business trend
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and be extremely organized and able to work in multiple spreadsheets and programs
• Ability to communicate both orally and written, in English
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, require
